Fashions and clothing are constantly changing and it may differ from country to country, depending on various factors including age, geography, climate and people’s taste.

Clothing

Clothing also known as clothes or attire are items worn on the body. Typically, clothes are made of fabrics but over time it has included garments made from animal skin and other thin sheets of materials and natural products found in the environment, put together. The wearing of clothes is mostly restricted to human beings and is a feature of all human societies. The amount and type of clothes worn depends on gender, body type, social factors, and geographic considerations.

Garments cover the body, footwear covers the feet, gloves cover the hands, while hats and headgear cover the head. Eyewear and jewellery are not generally considered items of clothing, but play an important role in fashion.

Accessories

An accessory can be said to be anything you wear or carry other than your clothes. Accessories are often chosen to complete once outfits . They have the capacity to further express and enhance an individual's identity and personality. Accessories come in different shapes, sizes, and hues.

A fashion accessory Is an item used to contribute, in a secondary manner, to the wearer’s outfit, often used to complete an outfit and chosen to specifically complement the wearer’s look.

The importance of accessories cannot be better summed up than thus but this is true for both men and women. Accessories aim to enhance the effect of clothes you wear- whether they succeed or not depends on your sense of style, the trend in fashion at that particular time and the context.

Fashion accessories can be loosely categorised into two general areas:

  • one are those that are carried and other are those that are worn.
  • Traditionally carried accessories include purses and handbags, eyewear, hand fans, parasols and umbrellas, wallets, canes, and swords etc.
  • Accessories that are worn may include jackets, boots and shoes, cravats, ties, hats, bonnets, belts and suspenders, gloves, muffs, jewellers, watches, sashes, shawls, scarves, lanyards, socks etc. +

Importance of Accessories

Accessories can give more importance to your personal style, taste and preferences. They also offer unlimited opportunities for clothes, helping you to do the best of every item you have. Clothes take up more space physically in your closet and clothes, but accessories are important details to complete each appearance. By itself, a bag, scarf or headband may not have much effect. However, when combined with clothes the accessories help create a robust outfit. Accessories are as important as clothes , offering a whole new opportunity to express yourself. With accessories you can create a fluent style waves up from head to toe.
